THE NAME

MIG, from Mr. MIG, is the nickname of Stefano Migliorini, CEO of THOK E-Bikes, former BMX world champion, and ex-Pro Rider DH. Along with Livio Suppo (Moto GP Team Manager), Giuseppe Bernocco, and Sebastiano Astegiano (owners of the TCN Group industrial pole), he is a founding partner of THOK E-Bikes and the father of the brand’s iconic model.

SHIMANO EP8 MOTOR

The EP8 is the second-generation SHIMANO motor. Currently one of the lightest drive units (2.6 kg), with a maximum torque of 85 Nm and a 36% friction reduction, it ensures powerful pedaling with smooth, direct, and natural delivery, facilitating vehicle control. The MIG-R will have a customized mapping for the EP8 by THOK with two assistance profiles: “long ride” for extended trips and “fast ride” for more performance-oriented outings
